A Recent Podcast Appearance

Shairi Engle recently sat down with the fine folks at VetRep Theater to tell them about her life experiences and how they inform her art. She gave some kind words regarding her Veteran Artist Residencies experience thus far, so I wanted YOU, the people that made this possible, to listen to this conversation and learn more about Shairi:

Savage Wonder

If you'd like to know more VetRep Theater's mission, here's their bio:

Founded in February 2021, VetRep is a non-profit theater, pending 501(c)3 status. VetRep brings talented veterans and world-class artists and performers together under one roof to create compelling live theater and events. Through an ongoing series of playwrighting competitions, VetRep assesses, develops and mentors talented veteran writers. Our 2022 season will begin on April 2. The season will consist of weekly staged readings at our Parlor, special events, and initial viewings of our workshopped, world premiere plays written by our veteran resident artists. Our Savage Wonder literary blog and Savage Wonder podcast are both year-round productions. Our literary blog focuses on veteran writers and poets, while our podcast features long-form, one-on-one conversations with veterans in the arts.

Thank you all for your on going support. As always, be kind.
